In creating the MATTIA series, HOHNER consulted with famous accordionists, teachers, students and dealers around the world to determine the optimal fingerboard dimensions, tactile feel, and smooth mechanism action for precise playing. The instruments are handbuilt in Castelfidardo, Italy.
The design was intended to bring a subtle modern feel to these high end instruments without neglecting its historic roots.
Mattia has been the first outcome of a long term ongoing strategic design partnership with Hohner on various products and packagings.
